Discussing your health in a second language is difficult, even for confident Spanish speakers. Medical vocabulary is specialised, and the details that matter most are often the hardest to explain.
Every consultation at this clinic is in English, with a clinician trained and registered in the UK. Appointments are unhurried, and you will see the same clinician at each visit.
Patients travel to the Marbella clinic from Marbella, Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía, San Pedro de Alcántara, Estepona, Benahavís, Elviria, Los Monteros, Guadalmina, Sotogrande, Mijas, Fuengirola and Málaga.

Two countries
If you divide your time between the UK and Spain
Many of our patients spend part of the year in each country. You keep the same clinician and one set of records throughout, so a course of thread vein treatment started here can be completed in London, and the reverse.
Programmes that depend on prescribed medication work differently. The medication is dispensed by our UK pharmacy partner, which supplies UK addresses only, so medical weight management and prescribing services run in the UK and cannot be continued while you are in Spain. Kim will tell you at the outset if this affects your plan.

Common questions
Do you speak English?
Yes. Every consultation is conducted in English by a UK-trained and UK-registered clinician.
Are you registered to practise in Spain?
Spanish registration detail is to be confirmed. You are welcome to ask to see this.
I am a UK resident visiting Marbella. Can I be seen?
Yes. Visitors, second-home owners and people staying temporarily are all welcome. If you are already a patient in London, the same clinician sees you and your records carry across. Note that a programme involving prescribed medication cannot be continued here, as our pharmacy partner dispenses to UK addresses only.
Can I start treatment in Marbella and continue it in London?
Yes, for treatments given in person. A course of thread vein treatment started here can be completed in London, with the same clinician and the same records throughout.
Can I get medication prescribed and dispensed here?
No. Prescribed medication is dispensed by our UK pharmacy partner, which supplies UK addresses and does not ship to Spain. Medical weight management, prescribing services and the online pharmacy are therefore available in the UK only. The Marbella clinic offers treatments given in person.
Do you accept Spanish health insurance?
Insurance arrangements are to be confirmed. A detailed receipt can be provided for any claim.
